Roll Range | Result |
---|---|
1–23 | The gods are far too busy to be bothered with the affairs of mortals. The Priest's call goes unheeded. |
24–33 | A searing flash blinds everyone within 10 cms of the Priest for one game turn. Units totally or partially affected are disordered and may not move, fire or initiate combat while blinded. If attacked by the enemy while in this state, they lose all rank and reach bonuses, and count as attacked in the rear. |
34–43 | The gods are disinterested; far greater things are happening on the other planes of the multiverse. |
44 | Ahrgg! The ground beneath the Priest's feet bursts into flames, inflicting one leg wound – roll one D4 for severity. |
45–54 | The gods are annoyed you have troubled them. You may not make another appeal for two turns! |
55–74 | Sometimes the gods require sacrifice. Today you are that sacrifice. No help is forthcoming and you must survive on your own. |
75–84 | The gods are angry. A Lightning bolt crashes into the ground before you. Roll one D100. On 25% or less your character sustains two wounds. |
85–99 | A roll of thunder echoes across the sky, signifying the gods' displeasure. |
100 | Whom the gods love dies young. Your character keels over and dies. |
