The character creation page offers many options.

You can choose:

• Your character's race.
• The character type, of which there are six possible options.
• Their level (Minor, Major or Master).
• Their alignment from three possible choices.
• The unit type (infantry or cavalry).
• The character's character factors.
• The skills and abilities in accordance with the game's rules.
• Their standard (armour, weapon) and magical equipment (magical weapons or artefacts).

You have the option of randomly selecting your character's level.
